OUR MISSION

Events at Stately Homes creates bespoke events in cooperation with select country houses, public and private venues or existing Festivals in the UK and Europe. The aim is to bring excellent performance to beautiful settings and to liaise between artists and hosts to ensure a good initial understanding of each other’s needs combined with smooth running of rehearsals, workshops, performances and audience facilities.

Where required and whenever possible, we integrate a charity selected by agreement with the artists/lecturers and the venue hosts to be a co-beneficiary of the event.

When appropriate, we invite children/students local to the venue to benefit from the presence of artists or experts by integrating a school or community workshop. This can lock into visiting artists' own educational programmes or be additionally arranged; to build audiences and enhance community ties for venue and artists alike.

We aim to have a standard throughout all elements of our events which will be a credit to performers, participants and hosts and promote a wider appreciation of the event theme, subject, music-making etc. We seek to encourage sharing of ideas, expertise and mutual understanding - for the furtherance of the arts/disciplines involved and an implicit promotion of the role our host venues play in serving both these and their community.
